Palazzo Reale

Not only important to the city of Milan, the Duomo represents Catholicism largest and most famous cathedral in the world, whose construction dates as far back as 1386 at the hand of Milan’s first duke Gian Galeazzo Visconti. Sparing no cost at all, the Duke sought out the most valuable resources available so that the monumental cathedral would be the greatest in the world. A step inside the cavernous structure seems to indicate that he quite possibly achieved his goal.
