An ancient and yet modern-day capital all at the same time, a Rome Limousine will give you the most ideal means of getting around this city. Much travelling is required to give Rome its due, this city was most definitely not built in a day, and it will require more than just a day just to see its many highlights. With a limousine in Rome discover an ancient and yet immensely proud world where battles were fought and won. Then travel into modern day Rome, deep into the forest of its metal and aluminium skyscrapers that fill the skies. With no time better than the present, your friendly chauffeur is ready and waiting to open the rear doors to your plush limousine.

Combat in the Colosseum

First off the rank when visiting Rome must and always should be the enormous Colosseum, the most recognizable and iconic monument of Rome. Constructed centuries ago, it was commissioned by the Flavian emperors in the years between 508-544 BC. What was once a valley of where four regions of the ancient Rome converged, it was decided between them to build this enormous amphitheater, where many a gruesome battles was held. Not far off is the Palatine Hill, one of the famous seven hills in which the foundation of the Empire of Rome was first found and Palatine Hill continued indefinitely to be a central district. The archeological findings that can be seen there, show that the site was inhabited as far back as the 10th century BCE.

Decisions Made and Sealed

Back in your Rome  limo ask your chauffeur driver to take you to the Roman Forum, which is located between Piazza Venezia and the Colosseum. Originally a terrain of marshland, the entire area was cleared with ingenious irrigation system, making way to build the Rome’s ancient urban center. For more than 1,000 years this center, known as the Foro, would be a meeting place for Roman generals to conduct trials and market trades, there were temples, government buildings, stores and inns. Many of the sites remaining relics are beautifully restored for Rome’s many visitors to enjoy today.

Indeed All Roads Lead to Rome

Continue your tour of Ancient Rome at the Piazza Venezia, while perhaps it is not the most decorated, this site holds great historical significance as the central converging point of several major routes leading into the city, including Via Corso and Via dei Fori Imperiali. As it is still today not a pedestrian square, you can drive through in your own chariot of sorts, aboard the luxury Rome limousine. Although this historic square does see endless traffic, you can leave the hassles of that to your chauffeur driver, anyway, trust me you will want to move slowly around this neck of Rome’s woods.
